‘On Edge’ announces spring lineup

The On Edge readings series at Emily Carr has announced their lineup for this spring, with the first event January 22. On Edge presents free public readings by a range of Canadian writers.

  Marianne Nicolson: The House of the Ghosts
Using high-powered lighting, Marianne Nicolson, a member of the Dzawada'enuxw Tribe of the Kwakwaka'wakw Nation, will project the vision of a Northwest Coast ceremonial house front and totem poles onto the Georgia Street facade of the Vancouver Art Gallery from dusk to dawn every night.   Wack! Art and the Feminist Revolution
The first comprehensive, international survey of a remarkable body of work that emerged from the dynamic relationship between art and feminism between 1965 and 1980, a time in which a majority of feminist activism and art-making occurred across the globe.
